DIAS-3 and DIAS-4

DIAS-3 and DIAS-4 will be 2 separate trials with identical protocols, running in parallel in 2 geographical regions.

Desmoteplase In Acute Ischemic Stroke: DIAS-3 and 4

New imaging selection criterion for DIAS-3 and 4

Based on the DIAS-2 post-hoc analyses and the results from the DIAS and DEDAS trials, the main imaging selection criterion in the DIAS-3 and 4 trials will be based on the assessment of the vessel status at baseline. This training portal will provide some acute stroke imaging cases to illustrate the DIAS-3 and DIAS-4 imaging inclusion and exclusion criteria. In addition some interesting training cases have been prepared mimicking the baseline imaging screening situation.

Imaging modalities for DIAS-3 and 4

The sites will identify either MRI or CT or both as their diagnostic imaging modality prior to initiation of the study. They will need to show evidence of sufficient experience and proficiency in acute imaging of stroke patients with their chosen modality(ies) to qualify as study centres.
